This Privacy Policy explains how Thrillium Team (“Thrillium,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Thrillium mobile application (the “App”) and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The App is intended for users age 17 and older.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.
1) What We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information processed to deliver AI features (only when you choose to upload content).
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: name, username, email address.
- Support and communications: the content you send to us (for example, customer support requests and messages).
- Profile information you choose to add.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type/model, operating system version, language, identifiers (such as device identifiers), app version.
- Usage data: interactions with the App, features used (e.g., Care Plan, Plant ID, Watering Schedule, Disease Check, Sunlight Analysis), timestamps, and basic diagnostic events.
- Crash logs and performance data: error reports, stack traces, and related diagnostics.
- Location data (only with permission): approximate or precise location, depending on the permission you grant.
1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
If parts of the Services use web-based components, we may use cookies or similar technologies (including web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, help with security, and support basic analytics. You can control cookies through your device or browser settings (where applicable). Some features may not function properly without them.
1.4 Photos, Camera, and Face-Related Data
- No face recognition / biometrics: we do not use photos for facial recognition, biometric identification, or profiling.
- One-time processing: when you upload an image for analysis, it is used to generate the requested result and then deleted from our servers as described below.
- Local storage by default: generated results and images may be stored on your device by default (depending on your settings and device behavior).
- No training / no marketing: we do not use uploaded photos to train models or for marketing purposes.
2) How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the Services (including account creation, authentication, and delivering plant analysis results).
- Personalize your experience (preferences, history view, and continuing prior analyses).
- Improve the Services (debugging, performance optimization, and feature improvements).
- Ensure safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection, and protecting user accounts).
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
3) AI Features & Content Processing (Important)
Thrillium includes AI-powered features such as Plant ID, Care Plan generation, disease checks, and sunlight analysis.
Your control: you decide whether to upload images or submit text to generate AI outputs.
Our processing: uploaded images/text are processed on Thrillium’s own servers (not on third-party AI providers).
No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded images/text with any third party.
Deletion: we delete uploads immediately after processing is completed (or as soon as technically feasible to fulfill your request).
4) Legal Bases (Where Applicable)
- Performance of a contract: to provide the Services you request.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, improve, and operate the Services.
- Consent: for optional features such as location access and content uploads for AI analysis.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
5) How We Share Information
We may disclose information only as needed and on a minimum-necessary basis:
- With your consent or at your direction.
- With service providers (processors) who help us operate the Services, under contractual obligations to protect data and use it only per our instructions.
- For legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, property, and safety.
- In connection with business changes: merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets (subject to appropriate safeguards).
6) International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
7) Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate).
- Access controls and least-privilege practices.
- Regular reviews and auditing.
- Backups and recovery processes.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8) Retention
- Account data: for the life of your account.
- After account deletion: delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days.
- Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
- Customer support communications: up to 6 months.
- AI uploads: deleted immediately after processing as described above.
9) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

10) Age 17+
The Services are not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date when changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after an update means you understand the updated policy.
